Polo Ralph Lauren Stadium Collection Back On Sale For 1 Day

There may be no pieces more coveted by Polo Ralph Lauren enthusiasts than the Stadium Collection. Select pieces from the 1992 collection that featured the P-Wing and track & field inspired apparel are coming back for a limited time.

And we do mean limited, as the collection will be available in just three stores on Thursday, Sept. 21. Also, if you are able to make it to the Polo stores in New York City (109 Prince Street), Chicago or (750 N. Michigan Ave.) and Beverly Hills (444 N. Rodeo Drive), you will need a wristband to cop.

The wristbands will be available starting tomorrow (Sept. 19) beginning at 10 am local time and are first come, first serve. Each wristband entitles you to copping just one Stadium collection piece.

Don’t bank on the pieces—we see the cap, wind breaker and golf jackets are included—making it to the outlet or online (without a chunky resaler mark up).

A number of classic and vintage Stadium pieces were seen in a recent Fancy pop-up that featured Ezra Wine’s collection of Polo gear.

Peep some of the pieces getting the retro treatment below and on the flip. Good hunting!

Kyrie Irving Visits First Take For Extremely Weird Interview

Kyrie Irving shocked the professional basketball world when he requested to be traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers. The current Boston Celtics star sat down with ESPN’s First Take and said he didn’t consider LeBron James‘ feelings nor needed his consent to get out of town.

To say that the interview was a touch bizarre might be putting it lightly, this as Irving didn’t exactly answer Stephen A. Smith or Max Kellerman’s questions with direct answers. Further, as much as Irving tried to state otherwise, questions about his former teammate James and the Cavs organization seemed to bring about some tension in the studio.

No moment was as strange when the hosts pressed Irving on his relationship with James, inquiring if he went to the superstar ahead of requesting a trade. Essentially, Irving said he’s looking out for himself and simply said he didn’t need to consult with James about his career path nor did he show any remorse for his decision. To be fair, Irving did seem to affirm that he has no issue with James and is simply looking to be a star in a bigger role.

      Okay, then.

But there’s more! Kellerman got fried a few times by Irving, and, despite the chatter online, the point guard wasn’t especially nasty towards James and even called him the best player on the planet at one point. Simply put, Kyrie wants to do Kyrie right now.

Check out Kyrie Irving sitting down with ESPN’s First Take in the clips below. Hit the flip to see reactions from Twitter to the newly woke Boston Celtics star on the following pages.

The 2017 Emmy Awards Featured The Best In Black Television

The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards showcased not only the tops in the television industry but also brought out stars wearing their absolute best. While stars of all races and cultures came to represent, it was a night for Black stars to shine brightly as well.

Emmy Awards winner such as Atlanta’s Donald Glover, Masters Of None’s Lena Waithe,  and This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown and his better half, Ryan Michelle Bathe, all came dressed to impress, but there were several others in attendance that made the night special. In addition, British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oprah Winfrey, Cicely Tyson, Anika Noni Rose, Dave Chappelle, Viola Davis, Anthony Anderson, and several more were part of the big show.

We’ve collected the best images we could find of Black stars looking elegant and the like below and on the following pages. And we definitely appreciate Insecure’s Issa Rae’s sentiment that she was rooting in support for everyone that’s Black.

Sterling K. Brown 1st Black Actor In 19 Years To Win Lead Actor Emmy

Sterling K. Brown, one of the stars of NBC‘s hit show This Is Us, took home the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmy, the first time a Black actor has done so in nearly two decades. Brown’s exuberant acceptance speech was unfortunately cut off, but he managed to highlight both his joy and reverence for the craft of acting all the same.

Brown was delightfully turned up as he accepted his award, adding to his Emmy haul after winning for his role as Christopher Darden in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story last year. Brown thanked his fellow This Is Us castmates, calling them the “best white TV family that a brother has ever had”  and shouting out his fellow lead actor Emmy nominees, saying he remains a fan of their work first and foremost. Pretty classy stuff from Brown.

Check out Sterling K. Brown’s Emmy Awards acceptance speech in the clip below. Hit the flip to see the rest of what he had to say courtesy of Variety. Go on and get some tissues handy while you’re at it.

Blac Chyna Getting $20K Monthly For Child Support, Suing Over Revenge Porn

Blac Chyna is out here getting finessing large financial payments. The reality star, and now wannabe struggle rapper, is reportedly getting $20K a month in child support from Rob Kardashian, and she’s suing him for at least a milli over that revenge porn debacle

As for the child support, it was a negotiation the involved potential domestic violence charges.

      Per TMZ:

Sources familiar with the situation tell us, Rob and Chyna have agreed to joint custody of 10-month-old Dream. We’re told under the deal, Rob gets a skosh more than 50% custody.

Now the money. We’re told Rob drew the line during negotiations at $10k a month for child support, but she wanted north of $50k. There was some horse-trading, we’re told, and Rob agreed to double his offer and pay Chyna $20k a month, and she agreed in return to drop her domestic violence allegations.

Just so we’re clear, that’s $240K for having a Kardashian baby. We trust all that dough will actually go to the kid right?

As for the lawsuit, word is she’s seeking at least $1M in damages due to lost endorsements.

      Says TMZ:

Sources close to BC tell TMZ … Chyna did NOT settle her beef with Rob over his revenge porn meltdown …. when he plastered nude pics of her all over social media.

Chyna is determined to get her pound of flesh from Rob, in the form of 7 figures. She’s still fuming over losing a couple of weight-loss endorsements, she says because the pics made it apparent she’s had plastic surgery and the companies want au naturel.

Wait, what dumbass thought Blac Chyna was natural? No shots. See what we did there?

Somewhere, Tyga is just shaking his head.

How soon can both of these people just go away?

Gennady Golovkin Vs. Canelo Álvarez Bout Ends In Questionable Draw

The highly anticipated fight between middleweight boxing stars Gennady “GGG” Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez delivered on the pyrotechnics but was a let down to fans at the end. After the fight was declared a split draw, Twitter exploded with reaction and a boxing legend with four decades of experience had an epic meltdown of frustration with the results.

The sold-out T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada came and got exactly what they paid for in seeing the talented pugilists square off. For 12 rounds, Golovkin and Alvarez entertained with many giving the edge to GGG as his motor seemed inexhaustible while taking Canelo’s best shots. At the close of the bout, the judges scored it 115-113 for Golovkin, 118-110 for Alvarez (seriously, what fight was this guy watching?), and 114-114, making the match a draw.

The reaction at ringside and online was swift, but none could capture the passion of legendary trainer and current analyst, Teddy Atlas, who pretty much captured the emotional response most felt in watching GGG not win a match where he was never dominated. The unspoken rule of boxing is that when you’re up against the champ, you have to dominate the belt holder significantly to win the match and while Canelo looked amazing, the final results remain questionable.

We’ve collected some of Twitter’s best reactions below and on the following pages.
